It seems as though the God we worship is being forced out of the minds of society. Media attacks, attacks from the scientific communities, as well as just plain old indifference has caused many people to give up on God altogether. Many want to reduce God from His position of Divinity, to being some fanciful genie created in their own image.
This
series of sermons, “Seeing God for Who He Really Is,” takes a fresh
look at His wonderful attributes. Rudolph Otto phrased it correctly, “God
is wholly other.” This series will help you gain new respect and insight
to the Greatness of our God.

In Light of The Word is a Television Outreach Ministry of the New Iberia Church of Christ. This work has shown to be very successful in reaching out to millions of people throughout the world via the Internet. To date, there have been responses from over twenty six countries. Currently, this television ministry is viewed throughout fourteen parishes in Southern Louisiana on three broadcast channels and twelve cable stations. |

ATTENTION: Members of the churches of Christ (In Light of the Word requests support only from congregations and individuals of the churches of Christ.)
The
program is unique in that it never solicits any donations
from its viewing audience. This evangelistic work is completely funded by the
free-will donations of
members and congregations of the
churches of Christ. Be that as it may, The church of Christ in New Iberia
furnishes
free audio CD's to anyone making a
request, and
DVD's of the
broadcasts are made available to congregations too small to hire a full time
preacher. There is never any cost to those requesting the material. |
