The Book of Revelation
I Saw Heaven Open - Lesson Fourteen
 Many
people ridicule it; many people fear it; and far too many people are
confused about it. Words like "the coming apocalypse", "anarchy upon the
Earth", "devastation from above", all these things tend to cast fear
into the minds and hearts of those who pick up the book and read it. But
Jesus says, "Blessed are the ones who read these words of this prophecy
and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in
it, because the time is near".
Suffering for the Christ
After this I looked and there before me was a door
standing open in heaven. And the voice I had first heard speaking to me
like a trumpet said, "Come up here and I
will show you what must take place after this." At once I was in
the Spirit, and there before me was a throne in heaven with someone
sitting on it. And the one who sat there had the appearance of jasper
and camelian. A rainbow, resembling an emerald, encircled the
throne.(Revelation 4:1-3)
